Springtime

Spring is here after a long cold winter, so if you tend to hibernate during the winter months it's time to come out of hiding and enjoy the warmer days, get active again and eat fresh nutritious food. Set yourself a goal! Motivate yourself by having a target! That target may involve losing some body fat to look good in your wedding outfit or in your bikini/trunks on the beach, it might be that you want to get fit for a charity or sporting event, or you want to be stronger, more toned, or possibly faster. 
So the goal is set, now the plan! To reach your goal you must have a plan, an achievable plan. In that plan set short and long term targets and make sure you commit to the schedule. As the saying goes "fail to plan and you plan to fail". Take advice where you can and absorb support where it's offered.
Once the wheels are in motion and your are on your journey to achieve your aim, remain focused. Do not slip into the habit of making excuses when you are not putting in the effort. However, if you are 100% committed and sticking to the plan, be patient, results will come. Nothing worth doing or having is ever easy.
As you reach and pass those short term targets and get closer to the main goal, persist until you can stand proud in the knowledge that you endured the journey, rose to the challenge and succeeded.
